This is notably double the core count of the Ryzen Z1 Extreme and 7840U APUs. The processor's base frequency stands at an impressive 3.8GHz, surpassing the Z1 Extreme chip used in the ROG Ally by 0.5GHz. Additionally, it features a substantial L1, L2, and L3 cache.

A unique aspect of the Intel hardware is its hybrid combination of P-Cores and E-Cores, which, until now, was not a popular choice in handheld devices due to limited graphics performance. However, with the Intel Core Ultra 100H series, this seems to be changing. The CLAW will feature 6 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores, and 2 LP-Cores. Its built-in graphics are based on the Arc Alchemist architecture with 8Xe-Cores capable of boosting up to 2.25 GHz. The Core Ultra 7 1555H is a 28W processor, with a Max Turbo Power of 115W, showing potential competitive edge against AMD's integrated RDNA3 in the Ryzen 7040 and 8040 series.
